Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman (American gymnast) was a member of the team and captain of the 2012's Fierce Five, in addition to the 2016 Final Five US Women Olympic Gymnastics. Aly Raisman was awarded three gold medals in the 2012 Olympics, in London. Additionally, she brought home a bronze on balance beam. She was the first American to win the most medals at an Olympics. The gold medal she won in the Olympics in 2016 marked the second consecutive gold for the United States team. It made her together with her fellow teammate Gabby one of the very first Americans to accomplish this achievement. Additionally, she won silver in the individual all around event as well as for floor exercise. In between the two Olympics she had taken an absence from gymnastics competition for three years. Additionally she was part of two gold medal-winning American team in gymnastics. She began learning gymnastics in the age of 2 and her favorite event is floor exercise. Aly has a strong support for an organization called the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to commemorate her grandmother who died due to cancer. She is planning to pursue an occupation in fashion and hopes to broaden her signature line of leotards and socks later on. Fierce is a novel she's writing, will be coming out in the year ahead.
